Two persons were detained for entering the secret room and instigating voters during the Gazipur city elections. They were detained as per the instructions of the Election Commission (EC).
The detained men are Riadul Islam Riad at 101 polling centre and Abu Taher at 103 centre. Electoral legal action has been taken against them.
The EC said a mobile court led by magistrate ordered to keep Abu Taher in jail for three days on charge of forcing voters to cast votes.
While monitoring the Gazipur City Corporation (GCC) polls from Dhaka's Agargaon on Thursday, the Election Commission found that two men were instigation voters.
