Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will decide when the election-time government will be formed, said Law Minister Anisul Huq on Sunday.
He said the prime minister need not to resign from her post, to run the election-time government. The prime minister, during the polls time, may form a cabinet according to the necessity, he said.
The law minister made the comment while talking to reporters at the inaugural session of a training course for judges organised by the Judicial Administration Training Institute (JATI) at the institute in the capital on Sunday.
Replying to a question, the law minister said the government will bring necessary amendment to the Digital Security Act (DSA) in September in order to avoid its misuse.
Nazmun Ara Sultana, Director General of the Judicial Administration Training Institute (JATI), presided over the programme while Md Golam Sarwar, secretary of the law and justice division of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, was also present during the time.
