Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) will not allow Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami to hold protest rally in the capital tomorrow.
Jamaat leader Saifur Rahman said that DMP told them that the latter will not be allowed to hold rally as offices will remain open in the city tomorrow.
Earlier on May 29, four leaders of Jamaat were detained briefly at the DMP headquarters in the capital where they went to submit a letter seeking the DMP’s support in holding their June 5 programme in the city.
