International Cricket Council (ICC) unveiled the official anthem for the World Cup 2023 on Wednesday, September 20, wherein Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh is seen grooving to the song with other popular social media influencers. The ODI World Cup 2023 is right around the corner, and the cricketing fraternity is all pumped up to see the global giants take on each other at the biggest stage.

Dhanashree Verma, Gaurav Taneja, Scout, BeYouNick, and others are also seen dancing to the tunes of the anthem with the hook step. Notably, the official anthem titled "Dil Jashn Bole" is composed by famous music director Pritam Chakraborty. Singers Nakash Aziz, Sreerama Chandra, Amit Mishra, Jonita Gandhi, AKASA, Charan have given their vocals to the anthem, whereas, the lyrics have been penned down by Shloke Lal and Saaveri Verma, CricTracker reported.

The song is themed inside a train‍‍`s bogie, wherein Ranveer and official mascots are also seen. The music begins with a dialogue by Ranveer Singh that says, “ALL IT TAKES IS ONE-DAY”. Then, in an iconic Bollywood fashion, composer Pritam appears on top of the bogie of a moving train, announcing the hook tune “Dil Jashn Bole”.

The anthem then appeals to the fans to come out and cheer for their favourite participating teams by wearing their jerseys. Esports gamer and influencer Scout also appears in the video, followed by Be YouNick, Viraj Ghelani, Gaurav Taneja (Flying Beast), sports presentor Jatin Sapru, and lastly, Yuzvendra Chahal‍‍`s wife and dancer Dhanashree Verma.

The official anthem is full of beats and has a bassy hook tune, which has taken cricket fans into a frenzy soon after its release. While the anthem definitely provokes energy and passion inside cricket fans, some have also drawn comparisons of the song with official anthems of previous editions of the quadrennial event.

Speaking of the tournament, the event will be held in a round robin format over a period of roughly one and a half months, with the first game being played at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, between last edition finalists, England and New Zealand.
