Education Minister Dr A N M Ehsanul Hoque Milon today expressed regret over a remark he had made earlier, saying he had no intention of hurting anyone.
Speaking in the Jatiya Sangsad during discussion on the passage of a bill, the minister said many people had objected to his personal remark.
"I did not intend to make any comment targeting anyone. If anyone has been hurt, I simply say I am sorry and express my regret," he told the House.
The minister said his earlier remark was not aimed at any individual and reiterated that he never intended to offend anyone.
