Bangladeshi killed in Poland road crash

A Bangladeshi man was killed in a road accident in Poland last night. Three more Bangladeshis were also injured in the accident.

The deceased was identified as Al Amin, 25, son of Aktarul Islam of Panch Kaibar village under Kaiba Union in Sharsha upazila of Jashore, said Altaf Hossain, chairman of Kaiba Union Parishad.

Of the injured, one is Rakib Hossain, a friend of Al Amin, from the same village while two others are residents of Dhaka, said Al Amin's younger brother Abdullah.

The accident took place in Warsaw city around 11:00am yesterday (Poland time), Abdullah told.

Abdullah said his brother went to Poland three months ago for a good job. The accident took place when the four were going for a job interview within Warsaw.

Al Amin died on the accident spot. His body has been kept at a hospital in Warsaw, said Abdullah.

The injured are receiving treatment at the hospital.

Chairman Altaf, on behalf of the family, appealed to the authorities concerned to bring Al Amin's body home.
