The Ministry of Education has announced stringent measures to ensure fair and malpractice-free examinations. To prevent rumors of question paper leaks, ensure security, and protect examinees from such speculation, all coaching centers nationwide have been instructed to remain closed until August 15. This directive was issued by the Secondary and Higher Education Division on June 24.
Several important instructions have been provided for the examinees, including:
Arriving at the examination center at least 30 minutes before the start of the exam.
Correctly filling in information and bubbling circles on the OMR sheet.
Not folding the answer script.
Using only general calculators.
No breaks between MCQ and creative question examinations.
Mobile phones being strictly prohibited inside the examination centers.
Furthermore, students must pass separately in theoretical, MCQ, and practical examinations. Examinees can only take exams for the subjects listed on their admit cards, and their seating arrangements have been made at centers other than their own institutions. Attendance signatures are mandatory for every part of the examination.
On the first day of the exams, the Honorable Advisor to the Ministry of Education, Professor Dr. Chowdhury Rafiqul Abrar, will inspect the Vashantek Government College center at 10:40 AM. He will then also visit the Government Bangla College center.
Emphasis has also been placed on conducting the examinations in compliance with health guidelines. Wearing masks is mandatory for examinees, invigilators, and concerned individuals upon entering the examination centers. Instructions for using hand sanitizers are also in place.
The Ministry of Education has advised local electricity offices to be prepared in advance to prevent power outages during the examination period. Only analog watches with hands will be permitted inside the examination centers.
Khondaker Ehsanul Kabir, coordinator of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Sub-Committee, stated that all preparations have been completed. Law enforcement agencies and the administration will remain vigilant throughout the entire period.
He added that there would be increased surveillance on social media, and any activities that disrupt the examination environment would be strictly suppressed.
