Four people were killed on the spot when a covered van overturned onto a moving private car in Cumilla.
The identities of the deceased could not be confirmed immediately.
The fatal accident took place on Friday afternoon at the U-turn near Hotel Nurjahan on the Dhaka–Chattogram Highway in the Sadar Dakshin upazila of Cumilla.
Superintendent of Police Khairul Alam of the Cumilla Highway Region confirmed the incident to media.
