Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr. Hassan Mahmud said, "If the BNP runs its program without complying with the coronavirus restrictions, they will have to take the responsibility of transmitting the virus."
Referring to the success of the government, the Information Minister said, "The government has been able to control the spread of corona virus. BNP leaders are lying about Corona and Corona vaccines. '
He made the remarks while talking to press at his residence on Mintu Road in the capital on Tuesday (January 11) morning. The minister urged the people to campaign for Narayanganj City Corporation election and cast their votes in compliance with the health norms.
Commenting on the BNP's absurd remarks for failing to deal with the government politically, the Information Minister said, "People have rejected the BNP's destructive politics. But they are trying to walk that path again. If they do, the people will reject them forever. '
He said, "The rule that members of Parliament cannot participate in the local government election campaign from the Election Commission is undemocratic. Such behavior is discriminatory."
Meanwhile, on Monday (January 10), the government issued a notification with 11-point instructions to prevent corona transmission.
