The number of corona cases is increasing day by day in Manikganj. 41 more people have been newly infected with the coronavirus. With this, the number of patients infected with corona has increased to 8,445. According to the test, the corona infection rate in the district is 35.35 percent.
The district civil surgeon's office confirmed the information in a press release on Sunday (January 23) at around 11 am.
According to the press release, samples of 116 people were sent to the RTPCR lab of Colonel Malek Medical College for testing. Of these, 41 were tested positive for coronavirus. Among the victims were 22 from Manikganj Sadar, three from Saturia, four from Daulatpur, three from Harirampur, five from Ghior, two from Singair, and two from Shibalaya.
Incidentally, 126 people have died of coronavirus in the district so far. On the other hand, 8,101 people have recovered. In the last 24 hours, 108 people have been given samples for the corona test.
