A terrible fire broke out at the Cornelhat's Furniture Market in Chattogram. Two people have died in it while 6 were injured. The fire was brought under control after an hour and a half with effort by ten units of the fire service.
The fire broke out at 3:50 pm on Monday (January 10) at the P2P Furniture factory. The two killed were initially identified as workers at the factory. However, their names were not immediately known.
Confirming the news of the death of the two, Assistant Director of Fire Service Mohammad Farooq Hossain Sikder said, "The fire was brought under control at around 5.20 pm through an hour and a half effort. Ten vehicles from three units of the fire service worked to control the fire."
He added that two people had died inside the factory. They could not get out of the fire.
According to the fire service, the fire broke out in the factory at 3:50 pm today. Workers were working inside when the fire broke out.
