Three more people have died in the country in the last 24 hours due to coronavirus infection. So far 28,105 people have died in the country. At the same time, 2,231 people were newly identified. The total number of cases stands at 15 lakh 95 thousand 931 people.
This information was given through a press release sent from the Department of Health on Monday (January 10) afternoon.
According to the notification, samples of 26,816 people were collected in the last 24 hours. 26 thousand 143 samples were tested. In contrast to the test, the detection rate is 8.53 percent. The total detection rate is 13.64 percent.
All three men who died in the last 24 hours were male. Two died in Dhaka and one in Rajshahi. No deaths were reported in the remaining divisions.
According to the Department of Health, on March 8, 2020, the first case of coronavirus was identified in the country. Ten days later, on March 17, the first person dies with corona. Then the rate of infection gradually increases.
